Scale the wooded slopes of Mt. Washington in beautifully restored cable cars used by commuters since 1877. Enjoy a panoramic view of Pittsburgh, peruse a pictorial history of the Steel City, watch the original hoisting equipment in operation from the viewing platform, and visit the gift shop. Parking is available at the lower station at 1197 West Carson Street.

Open daily from 5:30 A.m. to 12:30 at night.

Round trip fares: Adults $5.00; Children ages 6 - 11 $2.50
Children 5 and under ride free.
