Kennywood and the Pittsburgh Steelers are proud to introduce The Steel Curtain! At a maximum height of 220 feet, the colossal steel structure of the coaster serves as a landmark addition to the park and a high-energy entry point welcoming guests to Steelers Country.
Another steel town favorite is the Phantom’s Revenge. Erected in 2001 this steel roller coaster offers speeds of up to 85 miles per hour and a 232 foot drop.

Kennywood Park
Kennywood is America’s Finest Traditional Amusement Park! The Pittsburgh-area park offers a mix of modern thrills and classic rides, including eight roller coasters, a 14-ride Kiddieland, lands themed to Thomas & Friends™ and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and several attractions that cannot be found anywhere else. Founded as a trolley park in 1898 and named a National Historic Landmark in 1987, Kennywood provides unforgettable fun for all ages.

Group Reservations are easy!
Group reservations can be made for as few as 15 guests. Plan an outing that includes only admission tickets, or go a step further and add meal deals to your package. We are flexible and will work to create a custom plan that meets your organization’s budget and needs. Call to inquire about catering options and pavilion rental.
Group rates apply when a group leader makes a reservation with our Group Sales office and the minimum number required is met. Tickets may be purchased in advance. The group leader is responsible for distributing tickets to group members.
Online reservations for group tickets should be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Operating Schedule
Kennywood is open most of May through Labor Day, plus select weekends from September through December. Gates open at 10:30 am and the rides start at 11:00 am. Closing time is dependent on the crowd and the weather; generally around 10:00 pm.
