Some of our initiatives include:

Art in the Alley
The Art in the Alley project, a unique interactive free public art initiative, features original works by local artists, adding a dynamic touch to the local landscape. Located on the alley of the Union Trust Building and facing The Palace Theatre courtyard, the area has become a destination spot in the growing downtown Greensburg cultural district.

ArtsWalk
WCT collaborates with the Westmoreland Museum of American Art and Seton Hill College to host this free annual event celebrating local and regional visual artists and live performers and supports local business initiatives with area high school art programs.

Achievement in the Arts
Held at the end of the school year, WCT hosts this free annual event at The Palace Theatre to honor the artistic merit of 18 Westmoreland County high schools.

Greensburg Music Fest
This city-wide event, held annually in late August, is designed to be inclusive and welcoming. With two outdoor stages at the Union Trust Building parking lot, a VIP lounge experience at The Palace Theatre, food trucks, cash bars, live artisans, and much more, the fest offers something for everyone. Live bands at venues like the Green Beacon Gallery and The Robershaw Amphitheater, along with the participation of several Greensburg businesses, make the event accessible and enjoyable for all.

Rhythms of Summer Concert Series
In 2024, we rebranded our long-running weekly summer concert series to the Rhythms of Summer and increased the participation of minority and vulnerable population musicians, artists, and vendors. We incorporated themes into each event, such as Honor our Heros, Blues and Brews, Soulful Sounds, Lively Latin, and Festival for Families, providing entertainment, food, and activities.

Wings Across Westmoreland
In line with its mission, WCT brings Art and awareness to cities across the county through the public art initiative Wings Across Westmoreland.   Thirteen locations across Westmoreland County have received their pair of wings with imagery that make each place unique. WCT collaborates with and asks the local communities to get involved by sending us landmarks and items they wish to see in their wings.

WCT Presents: Concerts, Special Events, and Live Theater
At The Palace Theatre, WCT supports live performances through a network of professional promoter agencies and annually hosts a diverse range of live shows. Audiences can enjoy exciting performances by talented national, regional, and local artists. These performances include Motown favorites, family-focused shows, country, rock, and pop concerts.
